A delicious recipe for Nougat Kipferl, a traditional treat made with nougat and almonds.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams butter
  • 100 grams powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 300 grams all-purpose flour
  • 200 grams almond flour
  • 150 grams nougat
  • 100 grams dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, beat the butter and powdered sugar until creamy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the all-purpose flour and almond flour, mixing until a dough forms.
  5. Shape the dough into crescent shapes and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
  7. Melt the nougat and dark chocolate together and dip the baked cookies into the mixture.
  8. Let cool and serve.

Notes

  • Store the cookies in an airtight container.
  • They can be kept for up to 2 weeks.
  • For a nut-free version, use all-purpose flour only.
